Pheasant Cottage

We had a wonderful 3 generation holiday at this cottage and had our dogs with us. The cottage is well set up for the dogs.  There is lots of china, serving dishes and pans if, like us, you like cooking on your holiday. The views from the back garden were lovely. The garden is also secure for the dogs. Overall a great holiday with some lovely places to visit very close by, Nunnington Hall was a favourite for us, a National Trust house, we love Helmsley and Pickering and Scarborough are also close by.

Amazing stay, the children loved the cottage – there was plenty of room for our family of 4 adults and 4 little ones. The cottage was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed including a travel cot and highchair, the log fire was beautiful and there was plenty of space for the children to run around and play. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

What a lovely cottage, very comfortable and there was everything we needed and more. It was great for the dogs, and loved the small touches with the dog bowl, treats and towels. Tracy was extremely welcoming and made us all feel at home, loved the home-made cake that she left, and also the nice touches with fresh milk and flowers. The cottage was very well equipped and had everything we could think of that we would need. It was a great base for exploring Yorkshire, and was lovely and peaceful. Many thanks to Tracy for making us feel so welcome and we will definitely be going back.

Partridge Cottage

I for one can highly recommend these cottages. Tracy is a wonderful host, she works very hard to make sure everything is perfect for your stay in this beautiful part of Yorkshire. Those welcome packs are delicious. Who else would make you wonderful homemade cakes!!

Stayed for a week with our dogs and was very impressed by the standard of the accommodation and just how dog friendly the place is. Dog throws and towels are provided! Lovely area, really quiet, but a great location for exploring the area, and lovely comfy cottages. Would definitely recommend.

Great welcome. Lovely cottage with everything for us and the dog provided – dog biscuits, dog bowl, dog throws and for the humans a lovely cake. Loved the soft fluffy bath sheets.

Gorgeous countryside and good walks for the dog straight from the door. Great pubs in the area. We will be back.

Grouse Cottage

Really nice cottage, one of the best we have stayed in. The owners were extremely helpful and the flapjack was superb!!!! Very handy for Helmsley, fish and chips were still hot when we got back!! Excellent walks from the doorstep.

Excellent cottage – the facilities were to a high specification and the dogs loved the enclosed private garden. Tracy the owner was lovely, really helpful and her homemade fruit cake was delicious! We had a fantastic week – lots to do in the local area or just spend time chilling in the garden.

Lovely cottage, everything thought of, even doggie biscuits and a very nice jam sponge! Owner was very approachable but also didn’t intrude. It was so quiet and peaceful, and the shower was amazing!! I would definitely recommend this cottage.
